DH Billy Butler To The Orioles
The Orioles and Mariners have shown interest in Royals DH Billy Butler, according to Bob Dutton of the Kansas City Star.
The 26-year-old Butler hit .313/.373/.510 with 29 home runs last year. The team has been rumored to be willing to deal a strong hitter in order to get impact pitchers. The Mariners might be a good fit, according to Dutton. The Mariners have a trio of strong pitching prospects in Danny Hultzen, Taijuan Walker and James Paxton. That’s likely the reason Dutton thinks the two teams are a fit.
