David Hernandez May Need Tommy John Surgery
Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com reports that David Hernandez will seek a second opinion, but surgery is likely and would cost him the entire season and perhaps some of 2015 as well.
Hernandez posted a career-worst 4.48 ERA last season thanks to serving up 10 homers in 62 innings, but his 66/24 K/BB ratio was very good, he had a combined 2.94 ERA in 2011 and 2012, and he posted a 2.16 ERA in eight appearances this spring.
