Cowboys Not Interested In Defensive Trade
The Cowboys have lost defensive end Anthony Spencer for the season, they don’t know if defensive tackle Jay Ratliff will play at all this season and defensive end DeMarcus Ware is dealing with a torn quad that could keep him out for a month.
Despite all of that, the team is not looking to dive into the trade market for help on the defensive line.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said during an interview on KRLD, via Tom Orsborn of the San Antonio Express-News, that the team did not want to give up a high draft pick to shore up the ailing line. The team is expected to sign former Packer, Titan and Charger defensive end Jarius Wynn to give them another healthy body up front, but it doesn’t look like any bigger move is in the works.
