Cowboys' Jay Ratliff Could Miss First 6 Games
All summer, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has shrugged off concerns that defensive tackle Jay Ratliffs inability to practice or play this summer would somehow impact the team during the regular season.
Were getting close to cutdown day, though, and Ratliff still hasnt been able to shake the groin and hamstring injuries that have kept him on the sideline. Thats led to more questions about whether Ratliff will be ready to get on the field when the season opens and a little bit of wavering from Jones on his belief that Ratliff will be ready to roll despite his long stay on the shelf.
On Saturday, Jones said, via the teams website, that the team would have to keep an eye on Ratliff to keep him from coming out too early and he said on 105.3 The Fan Tuesday that the possibility of Ratliff staying on the PUP list and missing the teams first six games is growing.
