Countdown to Spring Training: Day 22
There are currently four teams who are believed to have a pertinent interest in signing the former Tampa Bay Ray and the best reliever still on the market.
According to a tweet from Yahoo! Sports' Tim Brown, the Baltimore Orioles and New York Mets are only two of the interested clubs.
Mets, Orioles, two others in on Rodney.

One of the unknown teams may be the New York Yankees (thoughts from theBoston Globe's Nick Cafardo). Signing the 36-year-old closer makes sense for New York since they have already thought of a budget and plans to get under the $189 million luxury tax is totally out the window.
A deal between Rodney and the Yankees makes sense for both sides. The Yankees get an established closer to take over for Rivera, allowing them to keep Robertson where he belongs, in the eighth inning.
Rodney gets the multi-year deal he wants and gets to keep pitching for a contender.
TheMarinersare still "very much in the mix" as well, according to Jon Heyman of CBS Sports.
The projected deal is that Rodney signs a two-year, $10 million deal with the New York Yankees.
