Cooper Brings Toughness Back To Tampa

Tampa Bay Lightning head coach Jon Cooper spoke to the media Monday afternoon after the Bolts’ practice.

Coopers’ focus was on defense and toughness.
Brett Connolly broke through the defense with a special goal.

“He had a goal scores’ goal,” Cooper said.

Connolly was drafted by the Lightning in the first round of the 2010 draft.

Cooper believes that the Lightning may have lost their edge when it comes to toughness.

“I still believe there’s still a little bit of intimidation still involved in the game,” Cooper said.

Cooper plans to make team dread playing at the Tampa Bay Times forum.
