According to ESPN, Oregon wide receiver Eric Dungy is reportedly going to transfer to Tampa to play for the South Florida Bulls to play his final season.
Dungy is the son of former Indianapolis Colts and Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Tony Dungy, who still lives in Tampa. Dungy’s transfer is not official, but he and his father visited the school this week, sources said.
Eric Dungy posted this collage of photos from playing with the Ducks to his Instagram account.
Brett McMurphy reports that Dungy is scheduled to graduate in four years at Oregon, allowing him to transfer and play his final year of eligibility at another school this fall.
He graduated from Tampa’s Plant High School in 2010 and he redshirted his first season with the Ducks. The 6-foot-1, 182-pound Dungy has seven career receptions for 75 yards and a touchdown.
