UCF Track & Field Earns Scholar Team Of The Year

For the first time in program history, the UCF track and field team earned the high honor of USTFCCCA Scholar Team of the Year for the outdoor season.

Among 187 women’s programs that demonstrated excellence both academically and athletically to earn All-Academic Team honors, UCF stood out as the top-finishing team at the outdoor NCAA Division I Championships to post at least a 3.00 cumulative team grade-point average.

The Knights claimed the outdoor track & field Scholar Team of the Year award with a cumulative 3.166 team GPA, marking the fifth different team to earn the honor in the past five seasons. UCF finished fifth overall at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships with 35 team points. A pair of runner-up finishes at 100 meters and in the 4×100 relay accented six total scoring performances for the Black and Gold.
