UCF Set to Face Missouri on Sept. 13

Clayton Geather and the rest of the Knights plan to make it tough on Akron's new QB

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The completion of the 2014 football schedule is slowly taking shape with the announcement Thursday that UCF’s road game at Missouri on Sept. 13 will get underway at 12 p.m. ET/11 a.m. CT and air on SEC Network.

This year’s contest will complete a home-and-home series with the Tigers as Missouri traveled to Orlando in 2012 in a 21-16 victory for the road team.

UCF is coming off a 12-1 season, claiming the American Athletic Conference title as well as the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl trophy with a 52-42 win over Big 12 champion Baylor.

The Knights finished 2013 ranked No. 10 in the Associated Press Top 25.

Meanwhile, Missouri went 12-2 en route to the SEC East crown, falling to Auburn in the SEC title game but knocking off Oklahoma State in the AT&T Cotton Bowl.

The Tigers boasted a No. 5 ranking in the final AP poll.
