UCF Linebacker Arrested, Charged With DUI

UCF_LOGOUCF starting LB Willie Mitchell was arrested and charged with driving under the influence on Sept. 7, according to Orange County court records.

Mitchell was detained by UCF police and accused of driving with a blood-alcohol level 0.15 or higher. He faces a first-degree misdemeanor charge.

He was suspended for the Knights’ game Sept. 14 at Penn State.

A UCF spokesman said late Tuesday that Mitchell was also suspended for the Knights’ game against No. 12 South Carolina on Saturday.
