Wednesday is National Signing Day and UCF coach George O’Leary is said to appear on ESPN’s recruiting coverage.
The segment was announced during the UCF basketball game against No. 12 Louisville on Saturday night. It marks yet another development in the Worldwide Leader’s commitment to promoting the Knights as one of its marquee programs in the American Athletic Conference.
Coming off of a Fiesta Bowl win in January, UCF will have plenty to boast about on signing day. The Knights have scored several major recruits in recent weeks, flipping standout cornerback Kyle Gibson from Vanderbilt and fighting off Georgia Tech for the commitment of safety Michael Rogers.
UCF still has a few more spots to fill in its recruiting class, but the addition of Gibson and Rogers makes for one of the more solid recruiting classes in recent years.
The Knights have plenty of reasons to look forward to football in the fall.
