Tuck: Florida Well Represented In Super Bowl

There are so many stories to be told over the next couple of weeks leading up to Super Bowl 47 in New Orleans.  Last week I wrote about potential rooting interests based around great players with long careers that had either never been to a Super Bowl, or never won one.  Of course, there is also the college football fans, that cheer for their players in the NFL.

The state of Florida has never been short on NFL talent, and this year it is well represented in the Super Bowl.  There are 12 players that played college football in the Sunshine State.  The Canes lead the way with 7 players on the rosters of the 49ers and Ravens.  The Gators and Knights each have a pair of players, one on each team.  The Noles have a single player.  Perhaps cheering on one of these guys will help you pick sides if you don’t have a favorite team between the Niners and Ravens.
