Sykes’ Triple-Double Leads Knights Past Pirates

Isaiah Sykes recorded his second triple-double of the season, as UCF (17-7, 7-2 C-USA) defeated East Carolina (13-9, 4-5 C-USA) at home 83-73 Saturday.

Sykes had 20 points, 16 rebounds and 11 assists and became for the first player in UCF history to record two triple-doubles in one season.

Keith Clanton also became the all-time leader in career rebounds for UCF. Clanton finished with 14 points and six rebounds.

UCF will play at Memphis 8 p.m. Wednesday. The Tigers are 20-3, 9-0 in C-USA. UCF has never won in Memphis.
