Isaiah Sykes became the first Knight to hit a triple double since 2005 during Thursday night’s game against Stetson. The Knights (7-3) bounced back from the 72-50 loss to Miami earlier in the week by beating Stetson 83-66.
Keith Clanton led the Knights with 18 points followed by Isaiah Sykes with 16 points. The Knight’s victory was a team effort as they had 19 assists and 23 points off the bench.
UCF took the lead from the start and never looked back. Sophomore Kasey Wilson shot two threes early on and helped set the tone for the night. Wilson has the best 3-point percentage in the nation.
Up next the Knights will host Howard on Dec. 28 at 7 p.m. as part of the UCF Holiday Tournament.
