LSU’s Turner, Johnson Expected To Play Vs Georgia

Turner_3012LSU head coach Les Miles said on Monday that right guard Trai Turner and defensive tackle Anthony Johnson are both going to be healthy enough to play against Georgia on Saturday.

Turner (right ankle) and Johnson (left leg) each had to leave the game due to injuries suffered in the Tigers’ win over Auburn this past Saturday. Both injuries were at first thought to be serious.

But Miles said LSU trainers determined that Turner’s injury was just a contusion while Johnson’s was a bruise. Both will start against the Bulldogs.
