QB Transfer Epidemic Continues Under Saban

With the graduation of AJ McCarron, we already knew that there would be a new quarterback for the Crimson Tide this year. However, another QB has packed up and wants out of the Alabama football program.

According to College Football Talk, quarterback Parker McLeod is seeking a transfer and coach Nick Saban has confirmed that request. Saban has given Parker permission to “weigh his options.”

Parker will be the fifth quarterback to transfer under Saban. What is going on over there that forces QB’s out?

There aren’t any leads as far as where McLeod will land. But, he did originally have offers from UCF, Boston College and Louisville, before he chose Alabama.

Luckily for the Tide, FSU transfer Jacob Coker and Blake Sims are solid competitors looking for the starting role. They also have a few younger options in Cooper Bateman, Alec Morris, and David Cornwell.
