NCAA News: Canes Release “Juice” and “Surge” Helmets

First it was new uniforms…now the University of Miami football team has unveiled its brand new helmets for next season! The helmets come in orange and green, and are referred to as the “juice” and “surge” helmets.

With two new helmet options the Hurricanes are quickly becoming the Oregon Ducks of the East, with their multiple helmet and uniform options.

In April the Canes unveiled their updated uniforms to the players, who were ecstatic about the new threads! The updated uniforms will stay true to the traditional Miami uniform, but will add a little 21st century flare.

With the all the new gear for next season, the Canes are hoping it will help them improve upon their 9-4 finish last season, and a run at the ACC’s Coastal Division Championship. Miami kicks off its season on the road against Louisville on Monday September 1st..
