Three Miami Hurricanes will participate in the 2014 Reese’s Senior Bowl, which will be played Saturday at Ladd-Peebles Stadium. QB Stephen Morris, OL Brandon Linder and OT Seantrel Henderson will all play for the North team.
It is the fifth straight year that the Hurricanes will be represented in Mobile. The 2014 Reese’s Senior Bowl will kick at 4 p.m. ET and will be televised on the NFL Network.
Morris, the first Canes QB to play in the Senior Bowl since Brock Berlin in 2005, started 25 consecutive games under center for Miami to conclude his career. He threw for 3,028 yards and 21 TDs as a senior, becoming only the second QB in program history with multiple 3,000-yard seasons. He was a third-team All-ACC selection and was named to the 2013 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team.
Linder and Henderson are the first Canes offensive linemen to play in the Senior Bowl since Eric Winston in 2006. Linder started all 13 games along the offensive line in 2013. The versatile lineman made 10 starts at right guard and three more at right tackle, earning second-team All-ACC honors.
Henderson was a third-team All-ACC selection, playing 12 games and making eight starts at right tackle in 2013.
