The Miami Hurricanes have added a new threat to their 2015 recruiting class. Quarterback Dwayne Lawson committed to Miami Thursday, verbally. But, they can’t get too excited just yet.
Lawson verbally told the Canes he would play for them, but he still has plans to visit Tennessee, Mississippi, and Ohio State this summer.
Nonetheless, the Tampa QB is 6’5″ and 210 pounds of athleticism.
According to the Sun Sentinel, Lawson was a first-team All-Hillsborough County selection by the Tampa Tribune. He threw for 2,120 yards and 22 touchdowns last season.
Lawson reportedly has offers from several football programs including Michigan State, FAU, Louisville, UCF, Ohio State, and Florida.
The Sun Sentinel reports that he plans to make a decision in the fall.
