Miami Football Players Released from Team for Sexual Battery

They don’t call it the “dog days of summer” for nothing.

According to Bruce Feldman of Fox Sports, two Miami Hurricanes have been released from the football team for being accused of sexual battery.

Even though Feldman was the first to report the news, The Associated Press reported that the two linebackers each face charges for sexual battery on a physically helpless victim.

In addition, Figueroa was charged with possession of a stolen or fake driver’s license. Details about the incident are still being investigated.
