Florida State and Miami will renew their heated football rivalry for the 56th time Saturday at Doak Campbell Stadium. The game will kickoff at 3:30 pm EST and can be seen locally on ABC. ESPN 1080, your home for Florida State football, will broadcast the game. Coverage begins at 1:30 pm EST.
In what has become a bit of a trend, the road team has won the last five games in this series, including 23rd ranked Florida State’s 45-17 victory over 13th ranked Miami last season at Sun Life Stadium.
Despite their recent history and disappointing records (Florida State is 6-3 and Miami is 5-4 this season), this game is still huge in terms of recruiting and is often one of the most watched games of the year.
In fact, the 2006 matchup between these two teams is the most watched college football game in regular season history. Their Labor Day game in 2009 is the second most-watched game while their 1994 matchup is fifth all-time.
