LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Louisville and Rutgers end their football association in the American Athletic Conference tonight as each team is headed to a new conference next year. The eighth-ranked Cardinals are looking forward to playing in the Atlantic Coast Conference next season while the Scarlet Knights will be in the Big Ten.
Playing in Louisville, Ky., this evening, the Cardinals are out to improve their record to 6-0 while the Knights enter the game 4-1.
Each team comes in with a high-scoring offense as Louisville averages 44.4 points a game and the Scarlet Knights just four points less.
The two quarterbacks, Teddy Bridgewater of Louisville and Rutgers’ Gary Nova, have combined for 29 touchdown passes this season.
This should be a fun game to watch as just five points have decided Louisville’s back-to-back wins over Rutgers.
