Jimbo Fisher: FSU Refreshed After Bye Week

Seminoles_James_Wilder_Jr_2013FSU coach Jimbo Fisher said his team made the most of the bye week and that the No. 10 Seminoles (1-0) are refreshed going into Saturday’s home opener against Nevada (1-1).

“As crazy as it sounds … (the bye week) came nicely, at a very opportune time,” Fisher said Monday. “We got back to some fundamental things, got some guys healed up.”

Wilder and defensive back P.J. Williams, who was held out of the game at Pitt with an unspecified injury, practiced Monday. Starting right guard Tre’ Jackson was held out of practice with an ankle injury, according to Fisher, but Jackson is expected to return this week.
