News and Notes

– FSU ends season at 9-4 and figures to  be in the top 25 of the final polls. FSU returns up to 19 potential out of 22 starters in 2012.

– Champs Sports Bowl was a great description of Notre Dame season, full of promise only to give it away. Turnovers in red zone killed the Irish in season opener loss to USF and it killed them again in season finale loss to FSU.

– Notable games for FSU in 2012: Host West Virginia,and Florida  while the Noles will travel to Tampa  to take on the South Florida Bulls. In conference play, FSU travels to Miami and Virginia Tech while hosting Clemson.

– Notable Games for Notre Dame in 2012:  Irish will play the Miami Hurricanes for the first time in the regular season since 1990. The game will be played at Soldier field in Chicago. The Irish will also travel to Oklahoma, USC, and Michigan State. The Irish will get to host Michigan, and Stanford.
