Florida State released its first depth chart of the season Tuesday, and the most notable assignment is Dan Hicks being listed as the starting strong-side linebacker.
The 6-4, 240-pound redshirt senior was a defensive end until last season, when he switched to tight end before missing the season with a knee injury.
Hicks was back working with the ends on defense last spring and entered preseason camp as one of the presumptive starters at that position.
Instead, he is now listed at his third position in three years.
