FSU Football Pro Day: Players Participating

The Florida State Football Pro Day is Tuesday and many players are preparing to leave a good impression.

The Seminoles have had players selected in the NFL Draft for 28 years in a row, dating back to 1986. Last year, Florida State had 3 players selected in the first round: quarterback EJ Manuel was selected by the Buffalo Bills, DE Bjoern Werner went to the Colts, and CB Xavier Rhodes, pictured above, was drafted by the Vikings.

All athletes will arrive in the morning and they will go through a series of evaluations to measure height, weight, arm, hand, sit and reach.

Scout tests will include the vertical jump for OL, DL, TE, and LB. RB, DB, WR, QB, and SP will be tested in the broad jump. All players will do a 40-yard dash, bench press and then separate position drills.
