TALLAHASSEE — Florida State men’s basketball assistant Corey Williams will soon be leaving the Panhandle for Central Florida. A source told the Orlando Sentinel that he is expected to take over the head-coaching position at Stetson.
Williams has been one of three assistants on head coach Leonard Hamilton’s staff at FSU. Tallahassee was his second stop as an assistant, and came after he spent six years at Oral Roberts. On Monday, he will become a head coach for the first time.
