Florida State has the third best record in the ACC over the last nine years, but the ACC is tougher than ever. With the addition of Pittsburgh, Syracuse and Notre Dame last year and Louisville next year the ACC now includes six of the last 14 National Champions and seven teams that qualified for the NCAA Tournament last season.
The Seminoles have missed the NCAA tournament the last two years, but they showed off their potential with a run the final four of the NIT last season. Aaron Thomas looks poised for a breakout season after coming on strong during the postseason, but fellow sophomores Devon Bookert, Montay Brandon, and Boris Bojanovsky have to take the next step.
