Former Florida State football player, Greg Reid, is back behind bars only days after he signed a contract to play in the NFL with the St. Louis Rams.
According to WCTV in Tallahassee, an officer with the Valdosta Police Department saw the driver of a Nissan Maxima, who was not wearing a seatbelt. The officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle in the when the passenger in the vehicle, Greggory Lamar Reid, was found to have an active arrest warrant for Violation of Probation.
Reid was then arrested and transported to the Lowndes County Jail. The warrant out for his arrest was for not checking in with his probation officer. He was originally arrested in 2012 for possession of marijuana and driving on a suspended license.
Reid is being held without bond. It is unclear at this time whether this arrest will affect his new NFL deal.
