Last 6 Out-   Mississippi State (32), DePaul (44), Iowa  (33), Kansas (50), Oklahoma State (55), Illinois State (46)

Northwestern gets the last spot  with 7 wins against the Top 50 including South Carolina and DePaul  who are fellow bubble teams.

South Carolina  gets in by finishing season strong with sweep of Mississippi State at Starkville, took a game from Florida, LSU this season as well as winning at Kentucky in SEC tournament.

James Madison  has wins over DePaul, USF, Illinos State  and Virginia Tech and has not lost to anyone not name Hoftra and star pitcher Galati since April 10. James Madison  went 20-0 in Colonial other then Hoftra, 0-5 against Hofstra.

North Carolina has 8 wins against top 50 including  wins over at LSU, at Florida State,at NC State  Baylor in Tempe,  Virginia Tech (2 wins), James Madison (2 wins) should be enough to get in.

Mississippi State  will be the most interesting team, has a great RPI of 32 with win over Hofstra, UAB, LSU, Florida, Texas A&M, and Alabama to name some quality wins. However the Bulldogs lost six of last seven games to end the season including getting swept at home by South Carolina. Bulldogs also missed SEC Tournament while South Carolina got in.   Conference Tournament wins by Marshall (CUSA) and North Carolina State (ACC)  Should be final blows that knocks out the Bulldogs.

DePaul  late losses  in conference  to Connecticut, Pittsburgh  losing two of three at home to main contenders USF, and  Notre Dame and Conference Tournament wins by Marshall and North Carolina State spells doom for the Blue Demons.

Iowa  has 10 wins against the top 50 which is why Rpi is great at 33. The problem for the Hawkeyes  is they had terrible season in the Big 10 finishing in the bottom of the conference finishing 9th in the regular season and knock out early in the conference tournament.
