TALLAHASSEE — The No. 8 Seminoles (3-0, 1-0 ACC) easily defeated Bethune-Cookman 54-6, but the offense wasn’t as crisp as normal and the defense again struggled out of the gate. Although it was a lopsided game, players felt uneasy after the win because FSU is embarking on the bulk of its ACC schedule starting with Saturday’s 3:30 p.m. contest at Boston College.
“Still a lot of room for improvement in my opinion,” FSU coach Jimbo Fisher said. “I think we have to clean some things up, but it was a weird game in the beginning. We were a little undisciplined.”
