According to al.com, Johnson is deciding between Alabama, FSU and Auburn for his college career. Even though these three are the finalists on his list, it is rumored that he is leaning more towards Florida State since he has been a Seminole fan since childhood.
Others predict that he will choose to play in Tallahassee because of the way his abilities line up with the Seminoles’ needs and strengths. Johnson is truly an all-around athlete. He has starred as defensive back, a runner, and kick returner. There aren’t many high school players that can do what he does.
Johnson visited Florida State recently and al.com says that he has family in the Tallahassee area which could make his decision more of a personal, emotional choice.
Luckily for him, if he does want to play for FSU, he will get a chance to really make a name for himself. The Seminoles are stretched thin at the running back position, which also happens to be his favorite to play. Not to mention, the Noles have shown interest in Johnson and seem to genuinely want him on the team.
Johnson will make his official commitment announcement at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
