Morrison Out for the Year, Debose to Return

Will Muschamp would like to wake up from this nightmare now. Florida’s disastrous 2013 season is somehow still getting worse every day.

Antonio Morrison is out for the season with a torn meniscus.

On Monday, Muschamp announced that his team’s leading tackler and starting middle linebacker, sophomore Antonio Morrison, is out for the season. He tore his meniscus during Florida’s 34-17 loss to Vanderbilt on Saturday.

Morrison led the team with 56 tackles, including one for a loss, and two hurries. Michael Taylor, a redshirt junior, is second on the team with 53 tackles and will likely move over to the middle linebacker position.

In other news, Muschamp said wide receiver/special teams player Andre Debose has decided to apply for a medical redshirt that would enable him to return for a sixth season.

Debose tore his ACL prior to the start of the season, the first of what is now 10 Gators who are out for the year due to injury.

Does anyone think this squad could still make a bowl game?
