Gators to Enter 2014 Draft

Ronald Powell

This redshirt junior linebacker plans to declare for the draft after being encouraged by coaches to stay and get his degree. Powell was the No. 1 prospect in the Class of 2010 but fans didn’t see much to be impressed by while he played in Gainesville. He tore his ACL in the 2012 Orange and Blue game and then missed the entire year because of it. There are not many predictions for where he will go in the NFL.

Marcus Roberson
The junior defensive back made four starts in his junior season and totaled 11 tackles. He was named to the All-SEC Second Team after totaling 23 tackles, 12 pass breakups and two interceptions.

Loucheiz Purifoy
The cornerback decided to skip his senior season and head for the NFL. He had a little bit of trouble this season and his numbers were not anything too impressive. He had 24 tackles and 2 interceptions.
