Florida Lands a Pair of All-SEC First-Teamers

I think it’s pretty well-established that the Southeastern Conference is often very talented and very competitive.

And once again, Alabama (154 points) has been chosen by the media to take home the league title this season. They were followed by Auburn (75), South Carolina (32), Georgia (19), LSU (9), Ole Miss (2), Arkansas (1) and Mississippi State (1).

Should Florida’s “most complete team” under Will Muschamp have been left off the list? We’ll have to wait and see.

While the media doesn’t seem too high on the Gators, they did manage to land a pair of defensive players on the All-SEC First Team: DL Dante Fowler, Jr. and DB Vernon Hargreaves, III.

Also, OL Chaz Green made the third-team offense while RS Andre Debose was voted to the second-team specialist squad.

Not a lot of respect for the Gators here in the preseason. Will they surprise in the SEC this season?
