Florida Lands JUCO Offensive Lineman

So far, it seems coach Will Muschamp and the Florida Gators haven’t suffered too much damage on the recruiting trail following a disastrous 4-8 season.

Sarvary, a former lineman for Florida A&M, has decided to take his talents to Gainesville for his final two years of college eligibility.

About a week after nabbing two 4-star recruits in TE Moral Stephens and OL David Sharpe, the Gators announced another commitment on Wednesday.

Tyler (Texas) Junior College OL Drew Sarvary has signed a national letter of intent to join the Gators next season, according to Muschamp. The 6-5, 318-pound lineman will have two years of eligibility at Florida.

The Gators are adding size on the offensive line early and often so far on the recruiting trail, something they undoubtedly felt was a need following the 2013 season, especially considering offensive line mainstays Jonotthan Harrison and Jon Halapio will be lost to graduation.

Ian Silberman, often a reserve, has also decided to transfer for his final season.

Are the Gators making the right moves early on the recruiting trail?
