The Gators move up two spots as they now sit at number 10 in the AP Top 25 poll this week.
Florida will start Southeastern play against South Carolina on Wednesday. They’ve won five straight to get back in the top 10, after starting the season there and then dropping to No. 19 following a close loss to Connecticut earlier in the season. Now, the Gators are climbing back.
With 23 straight wins at home, they only need two more to beat the school record from the 2006-2007 season.
Coach Donavan didn’t think his team deserved to be in the top 10 before the season started but now he knows they are a better team.
The Gators won their tough non-conference games this season against Kansas, Memphis and Florida State.
