Nick Saban isn’t exactly teaching good morals and how to obey the law at Alabama. Or maybe he is, but his players don’t seem to be listening. For the second time this month, a football player has been arrested.
This time, linebacker Dillon Lee was arrested for driving under the influence. There aren’t any details concerning the initial traffic stop.
Saban told al.com that he doesn’t have all the details but he is working it out.
Lee was in the running for a starting job after spring practice but it’s unclear whether Saban will forgive and move on. Last year, Lee played in all 13 games for the Crimson Tide.
Al.com has more details on the arrest. According to the site, Lee was in a minor accident at around 2 a.m. There were no injuries but it was determined that one of the drivers was intoxicated. Lee was then transported to the Tuscaloosa County Jail and was later released on $1,000.00 bond.
Lee was also one of the players sent home from the National Championship game in 2013 because of missing curfew.
