Clinton-Dix, Kouandjio leaving Alabama early for NFL Draft
Not since, well, Barkevious Mingo has a college prospect been so anticipated by the NFL media as Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. It seems like everyone likes saying his name.
The Alabama safety and his teammate Cyrus Kouandjio are leaving school a year early to enter the NFL Draft, according to Alex Scarborough of ESPN.com.
Both could be first-round picks.
Clinton-Dix, a free safety, was likely headed out anyway, after a suspension this year for receiving improper benefits.
But left tackle Kouandjio’s future was more of a question, as he said he was 50-50 on leaving before the Sugar Bowl.
Either way, the pair of them provide us with another wonderful name, and a new entry into our spellcheck dictionary.
