Carlos Beltran May Be In Yankee Pinstripes Next Season

Citing multiple sources, the New York Daily News Mark Feinsand reports that Beltran would strongly consider an offer that would bring him back to New York but this time to play outfield for the Yankees.
Beltran, who will turn 37 in April, is reportedly intrigued by the possibility of playing in the cozy right field confines of Yankee Stadium as well as being able to keep his body fresh with stints as a designated hitter, which he cannot do while playing in the National League.
Though his career is definitely nearing its twilight, Beltran could still provide an offensive boost to a Yankees team that struggled at the plate this season.
He led the heavy-hitting Cardinals with 24 home runs and ranked third with 84 RBIs during the regular season, and he leads the club in both categories as well as OPS through eight playoff games.
