Cardinals Cut Todd Heap

Todd Heap’s time in Arizona is done.

The Cardinals have released Heap, a 12-year veteran tight end, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports.

A 2001 first-round draft pick of the Ravens, Heap has been to two Pro Bowls. But he’s been a disappointment in Arizona since signing a two-year contract with the Cardinals before the 2011 season.
