The University of South Florida worked very hard for everyone of their 40 minute battle against the Florida A&M Rattlers. Things were in doubt until Corey Allen hit a go-ahead 3-pointer from Corey Allen Jr. after a text book kick-out pass from a driving Victor Rudd — with 37 seconds remaining. The scoreboard rolled to all zeros as the game ended in a 73-70 win for the Bulls at the Sun Dome. Allen finished with a career high 22 points in the hard fought win for the Bulls.

This was not supposed to be a tough game for USF but as has been the case this season nothing has come easy for the Bulls. 10 games into the 2013-14 season USF sports a solid 8-2 mark and they will be hitting the road headed west for the holidays.

The Bulls won for the second straight time in the on-campus portion of the Continental Tire Las Vegas Classic. Now, USF actually heads to Las Vegas for Sunday night’s game against Mississippi State will be played at 8 p.m.ET, then a Monday meeting with either UNLV or Santa Clara.
