The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are on a three-game win streak, and with it have come some notable awards this week.

Second-year linebacker Lavonte David has been named NFC Defensive Player of the Week for his Week 12 performance against the Detroit Lions, and quarterback Mike Glennon has been named Offensive Rookie of the Month for November.

David, who is putting together quite the Pro Bowl-worthy season, recorded 12 tackles, one interception, one forced fumble and one pass breakup in the Bucs’ 24-21 win over the Lions.

He becomes the first Buccaneer to win the award since Ronde Barber in Week 1 of 2012. Meanwhile, Glennon becomes the first rookie to win Rookie of the Month honors since Doug Martin in October of last year.

Glennon led the Bucs to a 3-1 record in November, posting the third-highest passer rating in the NFL (119.7) and the fourth-highest completion percentage with a 70.5.

He also tied for the league’s fifth-best touchdown-to-interception ratio with seven touchdowns and just one interception.

His 137.5 passer rating against the Atlanta Falcons and 138.4 passer rating against the Lions are two of the seven-highest marks by a rookie in NFL history.

His 87-percent completion percentage against the Falcons is the highest single game completion percentage in the league this season and the second-highest in Bucs history.
