Patriots_Tom_Brady_2013He threw a touchdown pass for the 50th straight game. He passed his former teammate Drew Bledsoe for seventh place on the list for career completions. His team beat the New York Jets, again.

Tom Brady was good enough to win Thursday night. But he was un-Brady-like for much of the rain-soaked 13-10 victory at Gillette Stadium. The touchdown pass came on the game’s first drive, during which Brady went 3 of 4 for 54 yards. The rest of the night, he was 16 of 35 for 131 yards. His quarterback rating for the game was 71.0.

He was seen ranting and railing at his callow, butterfingered, route-busting receivers, prompting Joe Namath to write on Twitter: “Looks like Brady is frustrated with his young wide receivers. And I’m glad.” Brady screamed to the sky after overthrowing a wide-open Julian Edelman on the first drive.
