Bobcats’ Ramon Sessions Sprains Knee
Because the Bobcats needed something else to go wrong….
Ramon Sessions, the veteran point guard the Bobcats bring off the bench, will be out the next 2-4 weeks because of a sprained MCL in his left knee, tweets Steve Reed of the Associated Press. This happened during the Bobcats loss to the Nets on Wednesday.
In the season Sessions is averaging 27.1 minutes and 14.4 points a game for the Bobcats, with a PER of 17.9. He’d see more minutes and responsibility in a lot of places, but with Charlotte it’s about grooming Kemba Walker so Sessions has more of a back seat role.
A role he will not play the next several weeks.
