One of the great stories of the NHL season has been the scoring prowess of Alexander Steen for the St. Louis Blues. Unfortunately for both the Blues and Steen, the newly prolific goal scorer is out indefinitely with a concussion and has been placed on injured reserve. Blues GM Doug Armstrong confirmed the news today.
Steen left last Saturday’s game against the Edmonton Oilers in the second period and did not return. He also missed the Blues’ last game before the Christmas break.
