Blame Jay Z for A-Rod's Decision Not To Retire
An associate of Jay Z reportedly convinced A-Rod to keep on fighting.
After a lengthy suspension for performance-enhancing drugs, A-Rod planned to make a deal with the league and leave without a scuffle. Leave it to Jay Z's people to convince him otherwise.
This report says that the associate encouraged Rodriguez to fight the league and the Yankees after team President Randy Levine told him that a deal could not be negotiated.
A-Rod put up a fight that ended in a loss for him--suspended for 162 games and the 2014 playoffs.
It doesn't seem like A-Rod is going down quietly.
