Bills' Kiko Alonso To Miss Entire Season With Torn ACL
The Buffalo Bills got some unfortunate news today. Kiko Alonso, who is an up and coming young player out of Oregon, tore his ACL today in Oregon and is expected to miss the entire 2014 season.
"We do not have the details at this point, but early indications are that it could be significant," general manager Doug Whaley said in a statement Tuesday evening.
The Bills learned of the injury Tuesday but didn't specify how it happened. Adam Schefter says a seven to nine month recovery time is expected.
Alonso was expected to move from middle to weakside linebacker under new defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz's 4-3 scheme.
