According to Wood, Browns safety T.J. Ward yelled, “Hey, I told you to warn [Manuel] that we were going to get him” toward Bills linebacker Kiko Alonso, who was Ward’s college teammate at Oregon.
Manuel left the game after the third-quarter hit, which came at the end of his scramble for a first down. The initial diagnosis is that Manuel has a knee sprain, but he will undergo an MRI on Monday, ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reported. The Bills lost 37-24 to the Browns.
