K-State Coach's Classy Move
Bill Snyder and his Kansas State Wildcats suffered a crushing loss last week. The team lost to an FCS team, North Dakota State, at home on the final drive of the game. It was a tough pill for Wildcat Nation to swallow and Coach Snyder had every right to be bitter about the game.
Instead, he set an example of how to be gracious in defeat. The head coach still loves to hand-write letters and after the game he penned one addressed to North Dakota State's QB Brock Jensen. The letter complimented and congratulated the quarterback and his teammates on the way they played. He also wished them a great rest of their season and signed it with"warm regards."
Snyder may be old school, but he is proof that classiness never goes out of style.
